Glenn manages Sky Betting & Gaming’s Vulnerability Management, Application Security and Security Testing teams, covering a wide range of preventative security at one of the UKs leading online sports betting brands. Since joining in 2017 Glenn has overseen numerous initiatives including SBGs Bug Bounty Programme and their innovative approach in upskilling software testers into penetration testers, as well as pushing the boundaries on their vulnerability management programme.
Outside of work Glenn is an organiser of security community events such as DC151, regular conference speaker and still occasionally finds time to do some offensive security research. He is also currently writing a book on the UK Hacking Scene in the 1990s, working on bring back the BSides Leeds security conference and growing his collection of vintage retro-gaming equipment.
He is an avid Blackburn Rovers fan and “Professional Northerner”, who got into computers at a young age as he wasn’t allowed a whippet.
Started my IT career as a C programmer and spent time in various roles within development and support before moving onto Network management.
Joined Cargotec in 2014 and was initially responsible for support and project delivery in the UK for Cargotec and then for the EMEA region before moving into the global roles as Network Technical Lead and then onto Cyber Security Technical Lead.
I was responsible for the engagement and delivery of the Qualys VMDR platform and ongoing consultation for the support teams.
My qualifications includes Degree in Computer Science, MCSE 2003, 2008 & 2012, CCNA, CISSP & OSCP.
I am a CTF enthusiast on various platforms.
As President and CEO, Sumedh leads the company’s vision, strategic direction and implementation. He joined Qualys in 2003 in engineering and grew within the company, taking various leadership roles focused on helping Qualys deliver on its platform vision. From 2014 to 2021, he served as Qualys’ Chief Product Officer, where he oversaw all things product, including engineering, development, product management, cloud operations, DevOps, and customer support. A product fanatic and engineer at heart, he is a driving force behind expanding the platform from Vulnerability Management into broader areas of security and compliance, helping customers consolidate their security stack. This includes the rollout of the game-changing VMDR (Vulnerability Management, Detection and Response) that continually detects and prevents risk to their systems, Multi-Vector EDR, which focuses on protecting endpoints as well as Container Security, Compliance and Web Application Security solutions. Sumedh was also instrumental in the build-up of multiple Qualys sites resulting in a global 24x7 follow-the-sun product team.
Sumedh is a long-time proponent of SaaS and cloud computing. He previously worked at Intacct, a cloud-based financial and accounting software provider. He also worked at Northwest Airlines developing complex algorithms for its yield and revenue management reservation system. Sumedh has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering with distinction from the University of Pune.
As Senior Vice President of Product Management, Shailesh leads the product management team and drives the Qualys product vision helping customers assess and improve their IT, security and compliance posture. Since joining Qualys in 2012, he has worked in various security and compliance roles driving innovative solutions, including remote endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response, and SaaS security. In addition, Shailesh headed engineering, research and product management for Qualys Policy Compliance and File Integrity Monitoring, where he helped customers go beyond compliance to drive their IT GRC objectives. Before Qualys, he focused on security research for Symantec ESM and Compliance solutions. Shailesh holds a master’s in computer applications (MCA) from the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology and has various security certifications including CISA, CRISC, CISM. He is also a regular speaker at industry conferences.
At the end of February 2018 John Noble retired from being the Director ofIncident Management at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Duringhis 40 years of Government service, John specialised in operational deliveryand strategic business change. For his work in creating effective partnershipsin the run up to the London Olympics, he was made a Commander of theBritish Empire (CBE) in 2012.
John helped to establish the NCSC and led the response to nearly 800significant cyber incidents. This work has given him unrivalled experience indealing with and understanding the causes of cyber incidents.
As a non-executive director at NHS Digital, John chairs the InformationAssurance and Cyber Security Committee. He holds a number of advisory andnon-executive director roles. He is also a senior cyber advisor at McKinsey,advising Company Boards and speaking at major industry events.
Parag Bajaria is vice president of cloud and container security solutions at Qualys, focused on building and evangelizing cloud and container products and solutions. He has spent the last decade working in cloud security building products in various domains including data security, cloud posture management, identity security, and workload security. Previously, Parag was head of Product Management at CloudKnox, a cloud infrastructure entitlements management (CIEM) company. Parag has held product leadership roles at HyTrust, Yahoo, and Juniper Networks. Parag has an MBA from Cornell University and a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Maine.
Dr Thierry Delaitre is Head of IT Developments at the University of Westminster in the information systems and support department. Thierry joined the IT department 4 years ago. He leads teams creating new solutions, taking new technology directions, and Cyber security.
Thierry is the chair of the Technical Design Authority. Prior to this, Thierry had been leading the technical services department in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University.
This included managing technical teams, specialist laboratories for Science and Technology, high-performance computing cluster, Grid and Cloud computing facilities. Thierry had been using Qualys for 9 years.
Thierry obtained his PhD in Parallel Computing in 2000.
