Title: Apple Deprecates QuickTime for Windows; Zero-day Arbitrary Code
Execution Vulnerability Disclosed
Description: The Zero Day Initiative has published an advisory for Apple
QuickTime for Windows, warning users of a heap corruption flaw that
could result in arbitrary code execution. Apple has stated that they
will not be patching the security vulnerability in QuickTime for Windows
and will no longer support the product, thereby depreciating the
product. Users are advised to immediately uninstall QuickTime for
Windows due to the fact it will no longer be supported and increases the
risk of compromise.

Title: VMware Patches Critical Flaw in VMware Client Integration Plugin
That Could Allow a Man-in-the-Middle Attack
Description: VMware has patched a critical flaw (CVE-2016-2076) in the
VMware Client Integration Plugin that, if exploited, would allow a
man-in-the-middle attack or a session hijacking attack to occur. This
flaw manifests as a result of the plugin incorrectly handling
unsanitized session content. This vulnerability is present in vCenter
Server 6.0; vCenter Server 5.5; vCloud Director 5.5.5; and vRealize
Automation Identity Appliance 6.2.4. VMware notes that both server
client will need to be patched to address this vulnerability fully.
