Title: NTP Project Release Security Advisory and Update for ntpd
Description: The NTP Project has released a security advisory and update for ntpd in response to several vulnerabilities that have been identified and responsibly disclosed. The latest update brings ntpd to ntp-4.2.8p9 and addresses 10 vulnerabilities, most of which are denial of service flaws that could crash ntpd or prevent the ntpd from synchronizing time correctly. Note that proof-of-concept exploit code for at least one vulnerability (CVE-2016-7434) is publically available.

Title: Drupal Releases Security Advisory for Four Vulnerabilities in Drupal Core
Description: Drupal has released a security advisory for Drupal Core in response to several vulnerabilities that have been identified. The advisory covers four vulnerabilities with the two most severe flaws rated “moderately critical”. One of the vulnerabilities (CVE-2016-9451) could allow external URLs to be injected into specific Drupal URLs while the other (CVE-2016-9452) flaw could allow a denial of service condition within the transliteration mechanism. Drupal has released a software update to address these vulnerabilities that affect Drupal core versions 7.51 and prior and well as 8.2.2 and prior.

Title: Admin Access Flaw Identified in Siemens-branded IP-based CCTV Cameras
Description: Vanderbilt Industries has released a software update in response to CVE-2016-9155, a severe vulnerability that has been identified in Siemens-branded IP-based CCTV cameras. CVE-2016-9155 is administrative access vulnerability in certain cameras that manifests if an attacker with “network access to the web server” sends specific requests and to the camera and obtains administrative access. Note that Vanderbilt Industries, which acquired the SIEMENS IP Cameras business in June 2015, has released a software update for affected camera models to address the vulnerability.
