Qualys Vulnerability R&D Lab has released new vulnerability checks in the Enterprise TruRisk Platform to protect organizations against 5 vulnerabilities that were fixed in 3 bulletins announced today by Adobe. Adobe has released 3 security bulletins to fix newly discovered flaws in their software. Qualys has released the following checks for these new vulnerabilities:

Adobe ColdFusion (2016 Release) Update 14 and earlier version
Adobe ColdFusion (2018 Release) Update 8 and earlier version
QID Detection Logic (Authenticated):
This QID checks to see if Adobe ColdFusion and a .JAR file required to mitigate this update are installed.
QID Detection Logic (Un-Authenticated):
The QID checks for the vulnerable version from "CFIDE/adminapi/administrator.cfc?method=getBuildNumber"
An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to compromise Confidentiality, Integrity and/or Availability.
Adobe has released a fix to address this issue. Customers are advised to refer to APSB20-18 for updates pertaining to this vulnerability.
