Qualys Vulnerability R&D Lab has released new vulnerability checks in the Enterprise TruRisk Platform to protect organizations against 15 vulnerabilities that were fixed in 1 bulletins announced today by Adobe. Adobe has released 1 security bulletins to fix newly discovered flaws in their software. Qualys has released the following checks for these new vulnerabilities:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Adobe Reader and Acrobat.
These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
Adobe has released updates to resolve the following vulnerabilities:
- Denial of Servlce vulnerabilities (CVE-2010-0192, CVE-2010-0193 and CVE-2010-0196)
- Memory Corruption issues that could lead to code execution (CVE-2010-0194, CVE-2010-0197, CVE-2010-0201 and CVE-2010-0204)
- Font Handling vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2010-0195)
- Buffer Overflow vulnerabilities that could lead to code execution (CVE-2010-0198, CVE-2010-0199, CVE-2010-0202 and CVE-2010-0203)
- Heap Based Overflow vulnerability that could lead to code execution (CVE-2010-1241)
